Vandalism reported

It was reported to the Town Council who own the play park that at some time on Sunday 16^th July, a large metal rod was used to smash the children’s slide.  We have taped off the slide as it is not safe for children to use.  The cost to replace this slide is just over £2,500!!  It is such a shame that a few spoil it for others and do not think of the cost or the inconvenience this causes to those who enjoy the park.  If anyone has any information as to who is responsible, then you can contact the Town Council in confidence. This act of vandalism has been reported to the Police, who are investigating.
