KESGRAVE TOWN COUNCIL Planning and Development Committee Minutes Minutes of the Meeting of the Planning and Development Committee held on the 27th February 2017 in the Council Chamber, Kesgrave Town Council

In Attendance:

1. Welcome and Apologies for Absence – The Vice Chairman took the Chair in the absence of the Chairman and welcomed those present to the Meeting. Apologies for absence were received from Councillors Athwall, Mills and Wallace.

2. Declaration of Interests – There were no declarations of interest.

3. Minutes of the Last Meeting held on the 13th February 2017 – These Minutes were received, considered and approved by the Committee, following the vote. (Copy in Minute Book).

4. Clerks Report/Update/Matters Arising  Matters Arising Minute Number 6 – Case Number: ENF/2017/0060/DEV – Location: 173 Main Road, Kesgrave – Councillors noted that there is a possible Breach of Control: The Garage has not been built in accordance with the approved plan (DC/14/3634/FUL) – This possible breach being:- Insertion of a window at the first floor level.  Matters Arising Minute Number 14 – Site Allocations and Area Specific Policies Plan – Councillors noted that following agreement of these Policies, that all Local Plan Documents have now been formerly agreed by the Secretary of State and therefore, have been adopted by the Local Planning Authority (LPA). Matters Arising Minute Number 16 – Planning for All Seminar – The Committee noted that Town Councillor Ogden will be attending this seminar, as organised by SALC (Suffolk Association of Local Councils) at Mildenhall, Suffolk on the 2 nd March 2017 at a cost of £75.00. Representatives from Martlesham Parish Council have kindly agreed to give Councillor Ogden a lift to the event. 2

5. Members of the Public – There were no members of the public present.

6. Copy Letters of Objection/In Support/Observations – The Committee noted that no letters received.

7. Schedule of Applications/Proposals – The Committee considered and made its formal comments/recommendations to the Local Planning Authority – (LPA). (Copy in Minute Book).

8. Schedule of Planning Decisions – The Committee noted the updates. (Copy in Minute Book).

9. Referral to Planning Committee of the LPA (Local Planning Authority) as opposed to Officer Delegated – The Committee noted that there were no matters to note.

10.Proposed Development at Adastral Park, Martlesham Heath PreApplication Meeting with SCDC – The Committee noted that there were no further updates at this stage regarding the proposed development.

11.Date of Next Meeting – The next Planning and Development Committee Meeting will be held on Monday, 13th March 2017 at 6.15pm.

12.Agenda Items for Next Meeting – Members had no requests for items to discuss at the next Meeting. There being no other business, the Meeting closed at 6.45pm.
