Saturday 15^th August 2020 is VJ Day (Victory over Japan) and marks the 75^th anniversary of the end of WW11

As with VE Day The Royal British Legion have been asked not to have a large gathering of people.  Representatives from the Royal British Legion will be laying a wreath at 11.00am on the 15^th August at the Kesgrave War Memorial, Legion Green.

Wherever you are on the 15^th please spare a moment to reflect on the sacrifices made by all those involved in those 6 years of war in the 1940’s, and join us, at least in spirit, for a two minute silent tribute at 11.00 am
