Vincent Drift

Vincent Drift: – Mr Eddie Vincent operated from 1 Holly Road (or it was in those days). He was another of the small type builders we had in the village. He is probably more remembered for his association with the Kesgrave Village Produce Association. He with others ran sales of all types of seeds, plants and produce from the outbuildings within his property. The association boasted membership of over 1,000 in its prime. On a Saturday and Sunday it was extremely difficult to thanoeuvre in Holly Road with large numbers of people appearing from Eddie’s with barrow loads of fertiliser, seed potatoes and plants.
