The Council held its annual Senior Citizens Outing on 16th August.
The lucky participants were transferred by coach to ‘The Hut’ on Felixstowe Promenade. After a welcoming cup of tea and a very amusing game of bingo with numbers called by Don Whinney, a fish and chip supper was enjoyed by all. The raffle finished off the afternoon with prizes supplied by local businesses. Before boarding the coaches to return to Kesgrave some were able to take a short stroll down to the sea. A most enjoyable afternoon was had by all, and the council would like to offer it’s thanks to the staff and volunteers who help make the event possible.
