Rayment Drift

Rayment Drift: Mr and Mrs Rayment came to Kesgrave in 1940 when Harold was posted to RAF Martlesham. They lived at Main Road for a short while then moved into one of the first properties in Bracken Avenue. After early works within the church at Lowestoft, they quickly became involved at Kesgrave. From the early 1950’s until the mid 1970’s they ran the Sunday School. Harold was a lay reader at Kesgrave for approximately 35 years and his other duties included a spell as Church Warden.
