Suffolk Highways will be carrying out drainage investigation works along Bell Lane, Kesgrave from Main Road to Foxhall Road. This work is necessary to jet the system to try and clear any blockages and establish the current condition of the drainage system.
The work is planned to start on the 8 April 2019 and will continue for up to 3 days, between the hours of 8.30am and 4pm. The times and dates of works may change depending on the weather conditions. If they do change, we will let you know by updating the information signs on site.
While the works are in progress the road will be closed to through traffic. Access to properties and businesses will be available but controlled by staff on site. Please speak to one of our staff who will provide access as soon as it is safe to do so.
During the period of the closure, traffic will be diverted via:
A1214, A12, Foxhall Road and vice versa
On street parking will be restricted to allow the works to be carried out unobstructed.
These temporary traffic management measures are required to allow the works to be carried out safely and in accordance with current health and safety guidelines.
