Cedar Avenue, Kesgrave – Footway Reconstruction – May 2019
We will be reconstructing the footway along Cedar Avenue, Kesgrave. This work is necessary to improve the condition of the footway.
The work is planned to be completed between 7th May – 31st May 2019. Work will be carried out from around 7 am until 4:30 pm each day. The times and dates of works may change depending on the weather conditions. If they do change, we will let you know by updating the information signs on site.
There will be restricted access on sections of the footpath while the works are in progress and . pedestrians will be re-directed via an alternative route. Traffic will be controlled by give / take traffic management. Access to properties and businesses will be available but controlled by staff on site. Please speak to one of our staff who will provide access as soon as it is safe to do so.
Property accesses may be temporarily affected as the works progress along the footpath in front of residential driveways. Staff on site will liaise with the affected residents with regards to timings and access arrangements. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
On street parking will be restricted for this period to allow the works to be carried out unobstructed. Access for emergency services will be maintained at all times.
It would be most appreciated if any hedges or trees overhanging the footpath could be cut back prior to the works starting so that all areas of the footpath can be accessed.
These temporary traffic management measures are required to allow the works to be carried out safely and in accordance with current Health and Safety guidelines.
