Kesgrave’s Beacon Installed

Kesgrave prepares to take part in the National Tribute, to mark “BATTLE’S OVER 1918-2018”

The Beacon has now been install  at Legion Green next to the Kesgrave War Memorial, and will be the focal point of the National Tribute, on Sunday 11th November at 7pm when it will be lite along with all the other Beacons around the country to the sound of the Church Bell.

Installation of the Beacon took place on Wednesday and a huge thanks to TRU GRAB, who came to our rescue after we sent them an SOS call and supplied us with a grab lorry and driver to pick up the beacon! We could not have done it without them.
